Raimond Arduino is a retired embroidery designer from England. Following a lifetime in the London fashion industry, he emigrated to Normandy with his family in 2002, and has lived there with his wife ever since.

Encouraged by his brother, artist Lawrie Arduino, Raimond began painting in 2019, on discovering that retirement was not improving his golf!

Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of coastal France, Raimond enjoys painting local landscapes and seascapes. He also makes copies and adaptations of a wide range of artworks and takes particular inspiration from figurative artists like David Hockney, Amadeo Modigliani and Sheree Valentine Daines. In addition, Raimond creates his own abstract work, which can be found in his pieces of tableware.

To purchase Raimond’s copies, adaptations and original pieces, visit Tableaux and Art de la table.

Raimond is also available for commissions, please get in touch to find out more.
